Zur Aktualisierung und Ergänzung des Wissens der Ingenieure in der Stahlindustrie und in verwandten Branchen bietet die Stahl-Akademie eine Reihe von Weiterbildungsveranstaltungen an. Die Seminare und Kontaktstudien sowie das Zusatzstudium Stahl und das Aufbaustudium für Führungskräfte orientieren sich an den Qualitätskriterien des Wuppertaler Kreises.

The Steel Academy is an institution for advanced professional training and part of the Steel Institute VDEh. Since 1970 it is specialized in metallurgy and materials technology topics. Since 2000 the Steel Academy organizes international symposia/seminars, too. The conference language is English.

The Steel Academy is also engaged in the organization of international conferences of the Steel Institute VDEh.
